Chinney Alliance Engineering's Electronic Systems Division (ESD) was established in 1994 specifically to contribute to the many infrastructure projects launched concurrently by the Hong Kong Government and the Government of the People's Republic of China.

From the outset, the Division differed from other Chinney Alliance Engineering business units in the sense that it was set up to provide expertise to a market heavily reliant on infrastructure development expenditure.

Nearly all projects that call for ESD's involvement are tender-based and are usually awarded on a turnkey basis, with funding from Governments and international organisations such as the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank.

These projects initially included the Hong Kong Ports and Airport Development Scheme, universally acknowledged as the civil engineering project of the 1990s, in addition to a number of new airports and marine facilities covered by ongoing 5-years Plans in China.

The Division's successful participation in these and numerous other prestigious projects relying on its unrivalled expertise over the years make it one of the most respected and sought after suppliers of superior systems to the aviation and marine markets in the Greater China Region.

Recent year, the Division started to promote hi-tech products from China to other countries, such as container x-ray system from China.

It is safe to say that very few competitors know their customers, their customers' needs, and have the deep industry knowledge, broad product offerings, outstanding distribution network and financial innovation as ESD.

Both the Division and its branded principals are dedicated to providing the highest quality products and exceptional support services to customers throughout the Greater China Region. These products are all backed by superior after sales support.
