| Clean & economic, compact & safe. The HITACHI sealed lead-acid batteries are now the focus of attention as a new energy source. | |||

| The "HP Series" lead-acid batteries are compact as compared with vented type batteries, light weight & high performance batteries, with economic and maintenance-free features. Since there is no leakage of electrolyte even when batteries are laid down, they are just ideal for use in delicate electronic equipment, too. HITACHI was the first to develop the sealed lead-acid battery in Japan. Beginning from their widespread use, around 1959, as a power source for the hand-held signal-lights of Japanese National Railways, the HITACHI lead-acid batteries have found a multitude of applications as a high performance power source in ever newer devices, not to mention the recent sophisticated equipment, like portable TV, etc. which have been developed over the years, since then. And, now to top them all, comes the HP Series, loaded with features, like overcharge & overdischarge characteristics, variety of types, and so on, all of which have earned them an impressive reputation. They are now seen actively participating as a main power source of the rapidly growing portable devices & cordless equipment, and as a back up power source of the OA & FA equipment. |
